Global Trade Compliance Leader

We are seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Director to lead our EMEA Supply Chain compliance program. The successful candidate will be a seasoned manager with expertise in customs and trade regulations, HTS and ECCN classification, and origin and preference determination.

The position is responsible for monitoring key industry developments, legislative, and regulatory changes affecting CSL businesses, assessing their impact, and representing the company's interests in various trade associations.

The role also involves implementing CSL's Global Trade Compliance Policies, guidelines, and procedures, as well as developing and deploying regional and local procedures to ensure compliance readiness in the region.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of progressively responsible experience in highly regulated environments, with expertise in managing complex customs and trade operations, including customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other outsourcing providers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring regional key industry developments, legislative, and regulatory changes affecting CSL businesses
  • Implementing CSL Global Trade Compliance Policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Developing and deploying regional and local procedures to ensure compliance readiness in the region
  • Managing customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other outsourcing providers
  • Leading regional and local teams responsible for all regional trade and customs operations
