HVAC/Utilities Qualification & Validation Specialist

Our client, a global leader in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, seeks an experienced HVAC/Utilities Qualification & Validation Specialist for an initial 12-month contract with potential extension. Based in Visp, Switzerland, this role requires close collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and QA departments.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and control service providers, work steps, and material flows.
  • Subject Matter Expert for Utilities and HVAC qualification (Clean and Black). Develop qualification documentation ensuring adherence to company Standards / SOPs.
  • Author and review qualification plans and reports, ensuring test scope and execution meet requirements.

Key qualifications include relevant engineering background, minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, and fluency in English; German language skills are advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement qualification strategies for Utilities and HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on qualification and requalification activities.
  • Author and review technical documents, including qualification plans, reports, and commissioning summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong understanding of Utilities and HVAC systems, qualification principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
