We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Architect to join our technical architecture team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with test frameworks, combined with exceptional interpersonal and coaching abilities. This role involves not only the technical implementation and management of testing frameworks but also guiding and mentoring development teams to effectively adopt and utilize these tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select, design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to integrate testing frameworks into the CI/CD pipelines
  • Contribute to the architecture discussions to bring our solutions to a high level of testability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation and framework utilization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience with test frameworks, like Cucumber, Gatling, Karate, JMeter and Litmus
  • Strong understanding of test automation, software development lifecycle, and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes
  • Familiarity with testing tools like Tosca, qTest or similar solutions
  • Experience in a similar coaching or mentoring role
  • Experience in development in Java language (Spring, Quarkus and/or Javascript/Typescript)
  • Knowledge of other testing frameworks and tools is a plus
  • Certification in software testing or related fields is a plus
  • Experience with cloud environments and services is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor teams, driving the adoption of best practices in test automation
  • Ability to work in teams, with a high level of autonomy
  • Fluent in English and French (both speaking and Writing)
  • Resident in Switzerland or willingness to relocate
