Mechanical Engineering and Clean Room Expert

CERN invites applications from experienced technicians to join its Superconducting RF Section as clean room specialists. The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and maintenance of high-performance superconducting radio-frequency components and associated facilities.
This role involves working closely with our technical team to upgrade and optimize existing infrastructure, including clean rooms, ultrapure water plants, and other related systems. The successful candidate will also engage in R&D activities focused on advancing superconducting RF technology.
Main duties:
- Maintaining and upgrading clean rooms and related facilities;
- Participating in the development of assembly sequences and defining future SRF facilities;
- Improving cleanroom assembly techniques and processes;
- Ensuring compliance with quality control guidelines;
- Collaborating with colleagues in the RF Group and other teams.
