A&O IT Group is a trusted IT services partner to clients globally. We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our global team and work with leading brands from high-street giants to energy multinationals and financial institutions.
As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to End Users via phone, email or on-site visits. You will handle Incidents and Service Requests, and perform near desk support tasks.
The role also requires daily health checks to End User Devices and Network attached devices as required, as well as meeting room support as needed. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced and dedicated project team, and receive ongoing training and development to reach your full potential.
- Service End User Devices, including workstations, desktop PCs, laptop/notebook PCs, tablet PCs, smart phones, desktop phones, mobility devices, streaming media systems (video conferencing) and other End User computing Hardware devices and associated system Software;
- Handle Incidents and Service Requests, and perform near desk support tasks;
- Provide technical assistance to End Users via phone, email or on-site visits;
About you:
- You will have a minimum of 1-3 years' experience in Windows Desktop support;
- Business level German language skills (ideally C1);
Key Performance Indicators:
- Windows 7-10, Microsoft Active Directory, utilization of GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, Enterprise anti-virus solutions, Helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow);
- Mobile device management including IOS and Android devices, Enterprise encryption solutions, Windows PC/laptop management via Active Directory;
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills;
- The ability to multi-task, effectively determine priorities and meet SLA's;
- Excellent communication, rapport building and internal customer service skills;
