Your Day-to-Day

As a Bartender at Crowne Plaza Geneva, your main duties will be:

• Drink Consultation: Advise guests on the choice of drinks and dishes, and present them in detail.
• Bar Setup and Maintenance: Take care of setting up, clearing, cleaning, and tidying up the Bar.
• Drink Preparation: Prepare classic cocktails from the menu and create your own compositions.
• Smooth Service: Ensure a smooth service by taking orders, linking the Kitchen and Bar, preparing bills, handling payments and receipts, and clearing and cleaning tables.

What We Need from You

We are looking for a highly organized and autonomous individual with a degree in Hospitality Management and minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position within a hotel establishment of the same category (4- or 5-star) and/or a luxury bar. You should have extensive knowledge in Mixology and be fluent in French and English. Mastering another foreign language is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Micros and Computer Skills: Knowledge of Micros and good computer skills are a plus.
• Guest Service Orientation: Acknowledged for your guest service orientation, reactivity, and capacity to anticipate guests' needs.
• Autonomy and Flexibility: Highly organized and autonomous, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible.
