Job Title: Senior Network Security Architect

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Architect to join our client's team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive network security strategies, ensuring the highest level of protection for our client's infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP networking, with a focus on security principles, protocols, and services. Proficiency in network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, CGNAT, and encryption, is essential. Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as Wireshark, Librenms, Grafana, Telegraph, and Nagios, is also highly desirable.

A successful Senior Network Security Architect will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust network security architectures, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide technical expertise to resolve problems.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IP networks with hands-on expertise and a focus on network security.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking principles, protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), and services.
  • Proficiency in network security technologies and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, CGNAT, and encryption.
