This key position reports to the Head of Corporate Communications Business Partnering and is responsible for strategic communications for high-priority enterprise topics like Sustainability and other select topics across the Roche Group.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans that align with business objectives and elevate Roche's reputation among internal and external audiences.
In collaboration with GC CoE colleagues, design and execute engaging content and communications tools, channels, and mechanisms to deliver high-quality communications.
Work closely with Digital Communications CoE to establish robust metrics and evaluation to measure the effectiveness of communications.
Bring your expertise in communications and sustainability to guide the business and drive reputation outcomes for Roche.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic counsel and supporting their goals and objectives.
Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and partners, building trust and credibility through transparent and honest communication.
Prioritize and navigate complex issues, leveraging your expertise to find solutions and drive results.
Stay ahead of the curve in terms of industry trends and best practices, applying your knowledge to inform communications strategies and tactics.
Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, empathy, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
About You
You are an experienced professional with a strong background in strategic communications, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
You bring the following skills and competencies:
University degree and relevant experience in journalism and/or strategic communication roles.
Strong executive presence, consulting, leadership, and intercultural skills.
Trusted communications expert including mastery in business acumen and leadership.
Ability to influence leaders and colleagues and coach on communication delivery.
Systems thinker, able to see the bigger picture, and understand details across organizations and topics.
Native-level English writing and strong verbal communication skills are a must. Additional languages can be an advantage.
