About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsel to join our legal team at SonarSource. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations, including document and knowledge management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the legal team's operations, including document and knowledge management, to ensure seamless execution of our business activities.
  • Review, edit, complete, and fact-check various types of legal and financial documents and agreements, some of which are highly confidential, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with our sales, purchasing, finance, and IT security teams to provide legal guidance and support, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Perform legal research and assist with special projects as needed, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth and success.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex legal issues, demonstrating your ability to think critically and strategically.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant working experience in a similar legal position, with a strong background in in-house counsel or corporate law.
  • Swiss legal qualification with a deep understanding of key Swiss laws, such as the Federal Act on Data Protection.
  • Bachelor's degree in law or a related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Flexibility with work schedule to accommodate occasional calls outside of your regular time zone, demonstrating your ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, LinkSquares, and/or ServiceNow, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
