About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled LCA/EPD Specialist to join our Group Sustainability Department at Belimo Automation AG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Belimo's EPD program, including process setup, template creation, and LCA software implementation.
  • Perform LCAs and develop EPDs according to ISO and EN standards, focusing on the EMEA region and other Group Divisions.
  • Act as the interface for internal LCA/EPD contributors and external EPD program operators, ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Support the EMEA marketing department by communicating product sustainability facts to internal and external audiences.
  • Leverage LCA results for Belimo's greenhouse gas accounting and sustainability reporting, including scope 3 emission calculations.
Requirements
  • Degree in environmental or material sciences, engineering, sustainability, or a related field (BSc or MSc).
  • Proven practical experience in LCA/EPD work in an international company.
  • Methodical and technical knowledge with 2-3 years of practical experience in performing LCA calculations and obtaining verified EPDs.
  • Familiarity with LCA databases, software, and standards (e.g., ecoinvent, ISO 14040/44, EN).
  • Strong affinity with IT systems, including MS Office, Share Point, LCA/EPD software, and data management tools.
  • Proven project leadership and experience working in interdisciplinary, project-oriented cross-functional teams.
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, and reliable working style, with advanced English skills both spoken and written.
