Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Project Engineering Organization, you will be responsible for managing, executing and coordinating technical and process-related projects.
**About the Role**
As an Operations Manager, you will independently manage, execute and coordinate technical and process-related (sub-)projects within the Project Engineering Organization. You will perform engineering tasks and support construction and commissioning/qualification on Process topics within the organization. Your primary goal will be to assure timely delivery of engineering-related activities and documents throughout the entire project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scope, budget, safety, quality and schedule of assigned tasks.
- Revise and develop standards and concepts for process equipment and associated required documentation to be used in future projects.
- Support global engineering & MSAT with facility fit-outs for potential customers.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum Bachelor's degree or local equivalent in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering, as well as 5 years of experience in the engineering field, preferably in the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical process industry. You should also have functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facilities, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German or another European language.
