The Site Operations Department plays a crucial role in maintaining the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance and performance of all data modules in our data centers. The team consists of Critical Facilities Engineers (CFEs) working on shift and a cross-site shared Facilities Team responsible for upkeep of the facility in relation to building maintenance, cleaning and waste management activities.
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee daily facility aspects of each building and office activities across Switzerland. This individual will ensure that facilities and environment are safe, clean, efficient and well-functioning. The person will support the Site Operations Team managing critical infrastructure of the Data Center.
Responsibilities include managing FM vendors and their staff, implementing best practices and performance measurement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence across our facilities in the region. Vendor performance shall be measured against key targets, services provided and managed using various tools to ensure internal and external customers' expectations are met.
- Ensuring proper operation and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and enforcing compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Managing supplier contracts for Facility Management services in your region and advising on potential issues with suppliers.
- Ensuring supplier performance meets company expectations and contracts.
- Supporting Site Operations around reliability, sustainability, operational targets, budget creation as well as performance.
