About the Role
A challenging opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Investigations Lead to join our client, a prominent Geneva-based private banking institution. In this key role, you will oversee AML investigations and SAR reporting, driving compliance excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description
As Investigations Lead, you will provide quality control and decision-making support to the Head of AML, ensuring timely and accurate AML Investigations into cases of suspected money laundering. Your responsibilities will include managing sanctions advisory and investigation activities, overseeing Group Name screening and transaction filtering systems, and leading Groupe 2nd LoD control activities.

Key Accountabilities
• Ensure AML/SAR submissions meet quality, timeliness, and reporting standards for the Swiss Compliance Committee (Comité de Conformité).
• Collaborate with the legal unit to serve Swiss judicial orders.
• Produce management information (MI) content for Swiss and Group reporting, including bi-weekly AML Dashboards.
• Liaise financial crime concerns with other Group entities.
• Contribute to AML training from both Swiss and Group perspectives.
• Drive AML transformation initiatives as a key stakeholder for the Group AML Core Team.
• Analyze AML Investigations and SAR reports to propose control improvements and identify emerging trends.
• Maintain Investigations procedures and lead a team of 5 FTEs.

Requirements
You must have significant experience in investigations compliance, preferably within Switzerland, and hold a valid Swiss permit. Key requirements include:
• 5+ years in management
• 10+ years' experience in AML Investigations and SAR reporting in Private Banking
• Good knowledge of Swiss regulatory environment (LBA, OBA-FINMA, CDB)
• French and English required
• Strong analytical and IT skills (including GoAML knowledge)
• Flexibility, adaptability, good intuition, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Swiss residency (Geneva based)
