Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Scientist to join our team in Visp, Switzerland. As a key member of our API External Manufacturing (API EM) team, you will provide technical support and oversight to ensure the reliable and compliant manufacture of our API portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance yield, purity, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of technical projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documents, including technical reports, change controls, and regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor and analyze process variability and capability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes are validated and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support to internal and joint process teams, as well as to global and local PLOT teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Chemistry focus preferred) and at least 3 years of experience in cGMP manufacturing.
  • Or Master's degree and 1 year of experience in cGMP manufacturing.
  • Relevant industrial experience in API manufacturing, TS/MS, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Development.
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge in small or large molecule API manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with cGMP manufacturing environment and terminology.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize activities and make sound judgments.
