Operator in Biopharmaceutical Production

Lonza, a leading life sciences company, is seeking a skilled Biotechnologist to join its team at the Visp location in the canton of Valais.
The successful candidate will have a strong educational background in chemistry or biopharmaceuticals and previous experience in pharmaceutical production as an operator or production technician.
Job Responsibilities:- Carry out assignments in various production functions while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and cGMP quality standards.
- Recognize, interpret, and eliminate deviations to maintain a high level of quality.
- Execute production steps, including recording and calculations, to ensure accurate results.
- Provide training and support to new team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- A strong educational background in chemistry or biopharmaceuticals is essential.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical production as an operator or production technician is highly desirable.
- Safety-conscious work practices are essential.
- In-depth knowledge of process engineering principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in German being advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including a 4-shift pattern.
