Job Description
The Export Control Classification Expert will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with export control regulations in the Pharma Division. This expert will review and classify chemical and biological items, manage projects aimed at improving process descriptions and methods, and collaborate with other experts in classification tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and classify chemical and biological items against export control regulations.
- Develop and implement effective processes for classification and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of export control regulations, including US, EU, and Swiss regulations.
Requirements
- University Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry.
- Solid experience in chemical and biological product classification.
- Proven ability to assess and classify chemicals and biological items without supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to mobilize organizational units outside the 'home organization' to gather information necessary for well-founded export control classification decisions.
- Good experience working with SAP GTS Legal Control Product Classification module as an active user.
