About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Paralegal Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Patent Support team, you will be responsible for providing complex intellectual property administrative support to our patent practitioners.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Filing and maintaining international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence.
  • Preparing documents required for European patent filings, Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and foreign applications.
  • Maintaining and sharing knowledge of the latest patent rules and adapting practices to comply.
  • Monitoring and updating electronic dockets for responsible attorneys and assigned paralegal tasks.
  • Coordinating outsourcing, transfer in, and transfer out of patent files and responsibilities.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent analytical skills, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise with other cross-divisional groups to prevent duplication of effort.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to mentor and develop the technical competence of other paralegals.
