Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join our team in Zurich or Amsterdam. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including contract management, corporate law, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including licensing agreements, vendor agreements, and partnership contracts.
- Corporate Law: Provide legal advice on general corporate matters, draft and review corporate documents, resolutions, and other necessary legal documentation.
- Employment Law: Advise on general employment matters, draft and review employment contracts, ensure compliance with local employment regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with relevant laws and regulations as required.
- Legal Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with the company's business activities.
- Liaison with External Legal Advisors: Manage relationships with external legal advisors in Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United States, and other jurisdictions, for any topics that require local expertise, as well as specialty areas such as intellectual property, data protection, and others.
- Education: Law degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a law firm or similar in-house position. Experience in relevant areas of US law is a strong advantage.
- Language Skills: Full fluency in English, both oral and written, is essential. Proficiency in German and/or Dutch is a strong advantage.
- Skills: Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attributes: Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, adept at working collaboratively across teams. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of integrity.
