Job Summary
The Foundry Pourer is responsible for pouring molten metal into molds as part of the metal parts manufacturing process.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the mold is clean and properly loaded before casting.
- Calculate the required casting volume based on the parts to be cast.
- Prepare the necessary ladles and maintain their temperature.
- Manage ladles, including preheating and supplying near the furnace.
- Fill bags and perform metallurgical treatment as needed.
- Transfer liquid alloy to the casting area and pour the molds.

- Ladles
- Overhead traveling cranes
- Temperature sensor
Qualifications
The role requires training in Foundry Trades at CAP level or a Bac Pro Foundry qualification. Training can also be completed through apprenticeship.
