The Senior FP&A Controller we are recruiting will be part of a stable team within a dynamic industry.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:- Oversee the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing necessary adjustments
- Review USGAAP adjustments
- Manage accounting interfaces, troubleshoot IT-related financial reporting issues across systems
- Collaborate with various operational teams to identify, understand, and resolve compliance issues and unexpected financial flows
- Maintain analytical hierarchies within our system to support financial reviews and analyses
- Lead annual budget process while working with markets and head office functions
- Monitor actual financial results against forecasts, identify variances, and propose corrective actions
- Develop rolling forecasts on a quarter basis
- Provide detailed financial and operational analysis, identifying trends and opportunities
- Prepare and present detailed management reports, including comprehensive P&L statements, variance analyses, and executive summaries
- Manage and mentor 1 controller and 1 intern
- Serve as a principal liaison between finance, operations, and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Proactively identify and implement enhancements to internal controls, safeguarding financial integrity and mitigating risks
- Take actions to address audit findings to ensure ongoing improvement in financial reporting and control mechanisms
- Engage in strategic finance projects in coordination with Finance director and CFO
- Draft technical specifications for new projects and support operational teams in defining and achieving their financial needs
