About the Role

As a Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Engineer at Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD), you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to save and improve lives around the world. Our team is responsible for developing and manufacturing innovative biologics, and we are seeking a skilled engineer to join us in this effort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations in the Solution Supply team, including weighing and dispensing of raw materials, preparation and dispensing of cell culture media and buffer used in fed-batch and continuous manufacturing of mAb.
  • Conduct operation reviews of executed batch documentation to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
  • Maintain GMP status of process equipment and areas through routine monitoring, calibration, maintenance, and certification as needed.
  • Investigate deviations and perform root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement departmental procedures and practices to ensure efficient operation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
  • Professional experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry, preferably in GMP environments.
  • Familiarity with Single-use systems in Bioprocess and quality management systems.
