Audit Methodology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Audit Methodology Specialist to join our team at KPMG AG.
Role OverviewThis role involves addressing both informal and formal consultations from engagement teams, coaching engagement teams, and being an integral part of the on-going development of our audit practice.
Your Contribution to KPMG- You will address informal consultations regarding Audit Methodology & Tools (KAEG, KCw, Sampling, Group Audits, eLSE, Standardization, Data & Analytics, Technology in the Audit).
- You will support the team leader in addressing formal consultations regarding Audit Methodology & Tools (including research).
- You will coach engagement teams in aspects of Audit Methodology & Tools.
- You will develop content for trainings (including Audit Conference and Audit Calls).
- You will support deployment of KCW and becoming part of the center of excellence of KAEG.
- You will update and develop technical Directives and Briefings.
- You will continue to manage a limited number of audit engagements (maximum of 25% capacity across the year).
- You must be an (Assistant) Manager or Senior Manager with at least 5 years of experience in Audit Corporates or Financial Services.
- You should have a high interest in learning and developing.
- You should be able to think out-of-the-box, as the underlying issue may not be what engagement teams think it is.
- You should have a high level of customer-centricity, with the customer being the audit practice/engagement teams.
- You should be a team player with high ambitions.
- You should have stamina and perseverance in driving audit quality.
- You should be proficient in German skills and/or very good English skills.
The estimated salary for this role is €90,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a range of generous benefits designed to help you thrive with us and benefit for life.
