Temenos, a leading provider of banking software, is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join its Treasury team.

About the Role

This key position plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing treasury-related accounting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working within a Treasury team. They should also possess a deep understanding of financial markets and instruments, as well as knowledge of risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise all accounting aspects related to treasury activities, including accounts reconciliation, reporting, and disclosure
  • Ensure compliance with hedge accounting rules as per IFRS 9 and IFRS 7, including documentation, effectiveness testing, and assisting audit processes
  • Assist the Treasury team in pricing deals for credit risk and complement their efforts in cash management and other treasury tasks
  • Support the Group Treasurer in financing activities, budgeting, and forecasting
Requirements
  • Strong accounting and treasury background, with experience working within a Treasury team
  • Excellent knowledge of financial markets and instruments, as well as risk management principles
  • Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Able to communicate effectively across various channels and non-finance audiences
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to work under pressure
