Grant Manager - Philanthropy Expert
About the Role:Stiftung SOS-Kinderdorf Schweiz is seeking a highly skilled Grant Manager to join our philanthropy team. As a Grant Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing funding opportunities that align with the organization's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and identify potential funding opportunities that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Develop and implement an institutional fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy.
- Write, edit, and submit grant applications and proposals, including log frames and budgets.
- Maintain relationships with funders and partners, and track grant expenditure and prepare financial and program reports.
- Coordinate with various departments to conduct evaluations of grant-funded programs to measure success and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- A committed team that is passionate about helping children in need.

- Short communication and decision-making channels, and a lean organizational structure.

- University degree in a relevant subject.
- Proven experience as a Grant Manager or similar role in the non-profit sector.
- Experience in researching and applying for funding opportunities.
- Excellent knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to the non-profit sector.
- Budgeting experience, knowledge of auditing policies.
- Knowledge of major Swiss and international donor agencies.
- Methodical and strategic thinking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and one of German or French.
- Project management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and fundraising software.
