Demand Management Professional

The role of Demand Management Officer is a critical component in capturing and managing demand from various entities. To excel in this position, you will need to have a strong understanding of demand management processes and be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

About the Role

This position involves overseeing demand planning activities, ensuring resources are available, and helping to manage conflicting priorities. You will also be responsible for ensuring funding is in place and obtaining approval to proceed with projects.

  • Capture business demands and have an overview of all demand for their scope (Country / Market)
  • Ensure business needs and priorities are understood to support the business strategy.
  • Work closely with the Account Manager, Product Business Partners, Market Integration Expert and PM when needed to ensure pre-scoping is performed to identify if existing products are available, or if a new solution is required.
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Entity project Portfolio
  • Requesting necessary resources to meet demand
  • Helping with portfolio prioritisation – from an Entity perspective
  • Helping address any competing or conflicting demands
  • Formally adding significant demands to the Global project portfolio
  • Intermediating with GO Project Management allocation
  • E nsuring funding is approved before proceeding with the next steps
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • A good IT background
  • Experience of working in a global Organisation
  • A good understanding of demand management processes

We estimate the salary for this position to be approximately $80,000-$100,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
