Underwriting Head Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Head to lead our underwriting team and drive business results. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize portfolio performance and drive business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on underwriting methodologies and best practices to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage international teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful implementation of underwriting initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across different levels and countries, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in underwriting, with a strong background in risk assessment and portfolio management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
