Global Sustainability Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Strategist to join our team as a Global Sustainability Manager.

Datwyler is a leading global company in the production of high-quality elastomer components for various industries, including healthcare, mobility, and food & beverage. With over 25 production sites on four continents and more than 8,000 employees, we generate annual sales of over CHF 1 billion.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing sustainability initiatives across the organization, ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations, and driving efforts to reduce our carbon footprint. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve environmental performance and reduce waste
  • Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives
  • Supporting the sustainability and corporate communications teams in preparing content for the company's sustainability website, reports, and investor communications
  • Staying current on evolving sustainability reporting regulations, trends, and standards, ensuring compliance and competitiveness

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field
  • Expertise in ESG reporting frameworks, carbon footprint management, and global sustainability regulations
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences

Salary: CHF 80,000 - CHF 110,000 per year
