Job Title: Soybean Trader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Soybean Trader to join our team at ADM. As a Soybean Trader, you will be responsible for trading Soybean markets at origins and destinations, identifying trading opportunities in the global market, and supporting our global assets to maximize contribution to the Global Trade PnL and market participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade cash markets at origins North America, South America, and the Black Sea.
  • Maintain existing and develop new customers, focusing on non-China destinations, and price accordingly CnF/CIF to customers and internal DM offices.
  • Assist in following execution processes for contracts and vessels with the execution team, including nominations, specs, documentation, and payment.
  • Follow futures markets to identify trends and trading opportunities, manage risk, and contribute to maximizing results.
  • Follow supply and demand, participate in discussions with a focus on trade flows forecasts and estimate demand coverage, and provide analysis of market data.
  • Communicate market developments and coordinate with ADM teams globally through analysis and support the preparation of market reports.
  • Follow and perform logistics controls, coordination with execution, origins, customers, and freight.
  • Be responsible for trade contracts, pricings, ETF system input, and Long/Short position.
  • Perform commercial controls, help prepare and maintain Position, PNL controls, and traded statistics.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of positions, risk management, cash, and futures markets.
  • 3 years of working experience trading Agri commodity Cash markets.
  • High degree of numeracy.
  • University degree in economics, business administration, agronomy, or similar.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, bringing high energy and commitment, open to challenges and learning.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
