Job Title: Finance Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Data Engineer to join our Data Analytics team in Chiasso, Switzerland. As a Finance Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring data quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data pipelines to support business requirements
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs
  • Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and unit tests
  • Document data flows and business rules
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Technology
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced SQL language knowledge and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
  • Demonstrable ability to work creatively and analytically with a strong aptitude for problem-solving
  • Basic experience in Cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of stakeholder business areas and ability to influence and partner with them
  • Performing analysis to provide insights and summaries to the direct manager, team, and other functions
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
  • Good knowledge of Google WorkSuite
