About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our cross-functional team at the Roche Innovation Center in Basel, Switzerland. As a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Cancer Cell Targeted Therapies, you will focus on exploratory research projects on genome stability and DNA repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cutting-edge science using molecular and cell biology assays, including fluorescence microscopy and CRISPR technologies.
- Design and execute experiments and perform data analysis.
- Communicate scientific progress through internal meetings and publications.
About You
You hold a PhD degree in a relevant field, graduated from your PhD programme no more than two years ago. Your experience and investigative attitude allow you to work independently, design, perform, and interpret experiments, and embark on new scientific methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications
- Extensive experience with DNA repair-related assays.
- Strong background in vector design, genetic engineering, and molecular biology techniques.
- Strong hands-on experience with a wide range of cellular and molecular biology techniques and cellular assays, including cell culture, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and CRISPR-mediated genome editing.
