Financial Director for Real Estate

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Real Estate Financial Management to lead our real estate financial management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our real estate initiatives.

About the Role

This position will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our real estate projects, including capital expenditure and operating expense planning, budgeting, and tracking. You will also develop and maintain financial models to track the performance of our real estate investments, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and support to our real estate teams, helping to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements, implementing strategies to optimize operational expenditures while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Capital Expenditure Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage capital expenditure plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Operating Expense Management: Oversee operating expense planning, tracking, and budgeting, ensuring effective cost control and adherence to financial targets.
  • Real Estate Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain financial models to track the performance of our real estate investments, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Investment Benchmarking: Conduct in-depth analysis to benchmark our real estate investments and performance against industry standards, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate finance, investment analysis, or a related field.

  • Proven track record in financial and accounting positions, previous real estate experience would be valuable.
  • Accounting knowledge as well as IFRS16 understanding.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to navigate uncertainty, recommending change where needed and steering teams in the right direction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
