Job Overview

Sauber Motorsport AG is seeking a skilled Autoclave Cured Composite Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of composite parts manufactured in our facility.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with production and design teams to develop and optimize composite components.
  2. Provide technical support to involved departments and facilitate information transfer to manufacturing teams.
  3. Ensure material testing and quality maintenance in composite part manufacturing, making informed decisions regarding non-class A parts.
  4. Maintain manufacturing quality oversight once components are productionized in manufacturing departments.
  5. Support project implementation and contribute to the direction and development of composite manufacturing processes.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience with high and autoclave cured composites.
  • Strong understanding of composite manufacturing processes and various methods.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, preferably CATIA V6, and standard SW packages (e.g., MS Office).
  • Excellent technical, organizational, and communicative competencies with ability to take initiatives and be responsible.
  • Creative, self-motivated, honest, and open-minded personality with high flexibility for working in shift models.
  • Full professional proficiency in German or English and willingness to learn basic level in corresponding language.
