Commissioning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Jefferson Wells. As a Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for the start-up and commissioning of industrial plants, systems, and equipment. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all new equipment operates efficiently and effectively, and that it meets all safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and coordinate the commissioning plan according to project specifications, including cabling and start-up of plants.
• Verify that all project requirements are met and that plants conform to current regulations and standards.
• Perform functional tests to ensure that all plant components function correctly and meet performance requirements.
• Obtain pre-acceptance from the client.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning process, collaborating with technical personnel and project engineers.
• Keep the commissioning documentation up-to-date, including test reports, instruction manuals, and maintenance manuals.
• Provide training and support to operational staff to ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of the plant after start-up.
• Optimize the product in collaboration with the technical department.
• Assist with disassembly and shipping of machines.

Requirements:

• Possession of a degree in Engineering/Technical or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of a second language (German) is desirable.
• Previous experience in the role of 2/4 years in structured contexts in the industrial sector.
• Availability to reside and work in areas adjacent to the company's headquarters.

What We Offer:

A permanent contract in Switzerland - RAL: approximately 65/75K Swiss francs, commensurate with actual seniority. The company will provide accommodation for the first few months until the candidate finds a place to live.
