Logistics Supervisor Role
The Logistics Supervisor will have complete responsibility for the Flow Control Room section. This role involves leading a 24/6 operation and managing the team effectively, as well as acting as a role model by carrying out key task areas.
- Initiates and oversees the implementation of projects across the entire process chain, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
- Manages the planning of employee resources to guarantee efficient and timely task execution.
- Monitors the timely execution of orders and implements corrective actions if deviations occur.
- Ensures a smooth workflow in the distribution center, maintaining balanced workloads across all areas and updating system data accordingly.
- Coordinates and prioritizes interventions with technical teams and relevant departments.
- Ensures compliance with inventory regulations, including SOX, GDP, and DI requirements.
- Provides daily reports to track performance, capacity, and workload.
- Documents processes, change-requests, and the execution of user acceptance tests.
- Initiates and implements projects aimed at continuous improvement.
- Conducts testing of the technical environment after maintenance or modifications.
Requirements
The selected candidate must have:
- A bachelor's degree in economics, ideally with a specialization in supply chain or logistics.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in logistics with progressive responsibility and multiple years of experience in leading people.
- Business fluency in English and German (verbally and written).
- Proficient user in MS Office, as well as in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems.
- A good understanding of the application of lean-management-tools and process-improvement-techniques.
- Team building ability and coach, track record of organizational development.
- Ability to liaise and communicate proactively with people of all sorts of backgrounds and levels.
- High degree of flexibility, work independently, and take the right decisions under pressure.
- Able to handle conflicts in a constructive way - strong interpersonal skills.
