We are seeking an experienced Application Laboratory Manager to join our Perfumery and Beauty division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the production of bases and application samples to meet our internal service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 10 technicians, ensuring their safety and business continuity.
- Monitor internal sample orders and regulate the workload in a balanced way while ensuring the best efficiency.
- Improve the application production processes, from internal customer request to delivery, with the aim of guaranteeing reproducibility in terms of quality and reducing our environmental footprint.
- Guarantee the accuracy and availability of stocks of raw materials and packaging.
- Ensure data are properly recorded and traced in the different software for future analysis.
- Infuse a safety and lean mindset in the team in line with our global Lab 4.0 strategy by coaching and leading workshops.
- Participate actively in cross-regional task forces related to global laboratory services initiatives.
- Report and monitor related KPIs, including budget, by establishing action plans to achieve defined targets.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree with at least 5 years of experience managing a team ideally within a laboratory/manufacturing/industrialization environment.
- Ability to motivate, develop, and assess a team and its individuals.
- Excellent analytics and IT skills (advanced MS Excel ability, VBA programming, and any other data visualization tool such as Qlik or Power BI will be a plus).
- Mastering lean management concepts with proven practical experiences.
- Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Customer and result-oriented, with an eye for detail.
- Fluent in French and English.
