Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Laboratory Software Support Specialist - Global Laboratory Systems to join our team. This exciting opportunity allows you to be at the forefront of supporting various laboratory software systems and take on a leading role in our dynamic working culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first- and second-level support for software and hardware issues related to quality control (QC) and collaborate with suppliers for third-level support.
  • Validate drivers, custom fields (Empower), and software updates.
  • Update relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supported software systems.
  • Conduct onboarding and regular training sessions for Quality Control members, especially for Empower.
  • Support the Quality Control/Quality Assurance department with EICRs, CRs, CAPAs related to supported software systems and provide assistance during inspections/audits.
  • Support QC daily work requests (e.g., troubleshooting, optimizing methods).
  • Set up new LACEs (Empower) and clients for other software systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a professional apprenticeship or university degree in Life Science, as well as user and/or technical knowledge of various laboratory software systems, including MODA, Empower, TDS Tiamo, SMP, PLA, and WinKQCL. Experience in the GxP environment and quality control is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $70,000-$90,000 depending on qualifications and location. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a dynamic working environment and opportunities for professional growth.
