Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Peer Tutor to support the academic success of our students. As a Peer Tutor, you will work closely with students to help them understand course material and develop effective learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review course content and teach skills such as note-taking, outlining, and test-taking.
  • Communicate with professors to determine suitable strategies and build on strengths.
  • Provide honest and appropriate feedback to support student progress.
  • Identify specific problems hindering student progress in coursework.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of course content and willingness to learn.
  • Patience with different learning styles and encouraging attitude.
  • Consistent and dependable work ethic.
  • Must have completed the course with a grade of B or higher.

Additional Information: Tutoring hours are dependent on demand and may vary between semesters. Child Protective Clearances are required for this position.
