Job Title: Senior Financial Controller

As a key member of the Local Controlling Team at CARBOGEN AMCIS, you will partner directly with the FIN Business Partner DS and other local Controlling Team members to drive financial excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Business Partner to various departments, including Operational cost controlling and variance analysis, and commenting on financial performance.
  • Coordination and consolidation of month-end reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
  • Coordination and consolidation of local budgeting and other planning processes, driving financial planning and decision-making.
  • Management of reporting packages and dashboard maintenance, providing insights into financial performance.
  • Management of data validation and accuracy, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
  • Project management and/or support for business cases, continuous improvement initiatives (cost savings, productivity, etc.), driving financial excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, higher or equivalent in business/finance/accounting or related field.
  • Multiple years of business-focused finance positions, ideally in pharmaceutical production and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with multi-national/global companies in Pharma or Biotech Sector.
  • Proficient in ERP/SAP S4 Systems, with additional FI/CO/MM/PP functionalities an advantage.
  • Experienced in working with visualization tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Great knowledge in performance management and generating decision-making insights.
  • Independent and hands-on working style with strong communicating and storytelling skills and the ability to collaborate closely across the business.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), with good knowledge of German an advantage.
