About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer to join our team at Alpiq. As an Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating various enterprise systems and technologies into a single cohesive whole using our iPaaS architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Architecture and Design: Create technical architecture and design of complex integrations, including planning for security, scalability, and backup procedures.
  • Integration Development: Oversee all stages of the integration development process, from planning to deployment. This includes hands-on development and testing.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders to identify business requirements, help set priorities, and gather feedback on integration designs.
  • Business Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement business process improvements by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for better performance and greater scalability.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with business stakeholders and strive for greater functionality from our enterprise systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Practical exposure to integration and software processes. Practical experience designing, building, and maintaining systems integration using an iPaaS solution (such as Boomi, MuleSoft, TIBCO, or Talend) and multiple programming languages.
  • API Knowledge: Demonstrable experience working with different types of API protocols and architectures. Broad knowledge of API management, including designing, developing, publishing, documenting, and analyzing APIs in a secure environment that enforces policy and usage limitations.
  • Software Engineering Principles: Strong software engineering principles, including continuous integration and deployment pipelines and technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Good people and communication skills.
  • Certification: MuleSoft developer certification is a plus.
