Fascinated by Space and Driven by Innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Engineer to join our team at nanoSPACE. Founded in 2018, our company combines the agility of a start-up with extensive experience in the space industry.

We design and manufacture highly integrated fluid and actuator-based mechatronic subsystems and components, as well as space instruments. Our customers worldwide trust us for our expertise and innovative solutions.

As a Product Assurance Engineer, you will work in a demanding environment with an open culture that fosters personal growth and individual development. You will be part of a dynamic team working on exciting projects and contributing to the success of our company.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Management and control of PA tasks performed by PA disciplines in assigned projects
  • Progress reporting of all PA matters
  • Management of audits, critical items, nonconformances, and alerts
  • Lower-tier supplier control
  • Support to documentation and data control, quality records, and configuration management
  • Carry out hardware inspections during integration, testing, and final acceptance
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in mechatronics engineering or related field
  • 5 years of experience in the international space industry, with at least 3 in Product Assurance
  • Knowledge of widely adopted space standards (ECSS, NASA, MIL)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Customer- and solution-oriented (internal & external customers)
  • Enjoy challenges and like to go the extra mile; very good spoken and written English; German would be a strong asset
