Do you enjoy working with the financial sector to support their sustainability ambitions and goals? Join our growing Climate Change and Sustainability Services Team within EY.

The world is facing one of its greatest challenges – constant climate change due to current economic activities. Governments, public sectors, companies, and financial institutions are required to adopt new sustainable practices while departing from business as usual.

Your key responsibilities

  1. Deliver high-quality projects to our clients on various sustainability topics, including regulation implementation, sustainability reporting, and assurance engagements for financial services organizations.
  2. Create innovative insights for clients, adapt methods to fit operational team contexts, and contribute to thought leadership.
  3. Drive operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives, consistently delivering industry-leading results.
  4. Collaborate closely with colleagues to create a positive learning culture.
  5. Contribute to developing EY capabilities in technical areas and engage with clients on applying these methodologies to their businesses.
  6. Work collaboratively with colleagues outside of CCaSS to deliver multi-disciplinary and cross-geographical work.

Key skills and qualifications

  1. Strong motivation and shared values for sustainability, social matters, governance-related topics, and finance.
  2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to manage multiple deliverables in parallel projects.
  5. A Bachelors or Master's degree in finance, economics, environmental sciences, or related fields of study.
  6. Ideal experience in ESG, sustainable finance, or climate risk advisory/consulting, assurance in financial institutions, or consulting firms.
  7. Knowledge of SDGs, GHG-accounting, carbon footprinting, or Life Cycle Analysis is a plus.
