About the Role

As the Business Controller, you will be at the core of financial planning and strategy for a division with a global reach and a substantial revenue footprint. This role is crucial in providing financial insights, enhancing profitability, and ensuring operational transparency across a broad product range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports to deliver insights on the division's performance, profitability, and growth potential.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting to align financial targets with the company's strategic goals.
  • Margin Optimization: Work closely with manufacturing finance teams to ensure accurate tracking of costs and effective margin management.
  • Product Line Analysis: Monitor revenue and margin trends, identifying key performance drivers and proposing solutions to maximize profitability.
  • Financial Modeling & Pricing Strategy: Conduct financial modeling to support pricing, new business opportunities, product launches, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations and commercial teams to enhance pricing strategies and drive sustainable growth.

Ideal Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in a similar controlling role, ideally within nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling. Experience with tools like Excel, PowerQuery, and PowerBI, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP).
  • Communication: Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and present insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
