SAP Basis Team Lead

  1. The Technical SAP Basis Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of SAP specialists in the development and implementation of software enhancements and process improvements for end-users.

Responsibilities

  1. The team lead will act as a representative of the organization in operational and project matters within their business area, while leading a team of SAP specialists to develop and implement software enhancements and process improvements.

  2. They will analyze SAP releases and suggest new functions and solutions to improve business processes and introduce them in designated committees.

  3. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure a stable, scalable, and future-ready SAP environment by coordinating with implementation partners for cross-module projects.

  4. Leadership and management responsibilities include monitoring performance, setting annual objectives, and supporting career development.

  5. The team lead will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching representatives, motivating them to achieve desired results while staying informed about the latest trends in the information technology industry.

  6. Overseeing the hiring process, conducting job interviews, and ensuring new team members are effectively integrated into the team are also key responsibilities.

  7. Training sessions, coaching, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture are additional responsibilities.

Requirements

  1. A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification is required.

  2. Several years of experience in leading SAP teams within the Basis area is essential.

  3. In-depth knowledge of Basis topics, interface architecture, CALM, Service provider Management etc. is necessary.

  4. Proven experience in project management and change management is also required.

  5. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team, are crucial.

  6. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are also essential.

  7. Fluency in both German and English is required.
