Your Role at Alstom

Join our team in Zurich as a PI Warranty Engineer/Technician (m/f/d) and be part of our global competence center for high-performance traction technology and development center for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, and services for the local and global market. Our Services product line offers a complete range of solutions to maximize the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire asset lifecycle, from planning and construction to operation and end-of-life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain our vehicles during commissioning and subsequent warranty period at the customer's site, as well as support validation and certification.
  • Perform fleet checks.
  • Record all necessary relevant error/event data in the error management database (GSI, Maximo) including configuration data.
  • Support specific technical investigations by engineers, internal or external suppliers.
  • Ensure a good information flow within the team for troubleshooting and warranty at the customer's site.
  • Support Helpdesk activities.
  • Implement changes to the vehicles at the customer's depot.
Your Profile

  • Certified technician or graduate in a technical field (electrical/electronic/electrotechnical engineer or engineer).
  • Good IT skills.
  • EHS/Eisenbahnsicherheit/ECM knowledge.
  • Several years of experience in error analysis and investigation.
  • Knowledge of railway products.
  • Knowledge of team management is desirable.
  • Fluent in German and English, French is desirable.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Category B driving license.
