About Us

The Audi F1 Project is a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class motorsport team. Our team is comprised of experts from various disciplines, all working together to achieve a common goal: to win in Formula 1.

We're currently seeking a skilled Motorsport Fabrication Technician to join our Hinwil, Switzerland team. In this role, you'll be responsible for fabricating high-performance components for our Formula 1 cars.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing various aluminum radiators with a sheet thickness of 1.2 mm
  • Developing and producing prototypes for race cars
  • Performing radiator maintenance after Formula 1 races
  • Cold and hot forming of sheet metal components made of aluminum and titanium for various vehicle parts
  • Assisting in the production of welding jigs, tools, and fixtures for assembly fabrication

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A completed technical or mechanical apprenticeship
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally with additional qualifications (e.g., WIG/TIG welding certification with a focus on aluminum)
  • Experience in conventional mechanical machining
  • Welding experience, particularly with thin aluminum sheets (1.0 to a maximum of 2.0 mm)
  • A precise and efficient working style, with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Proficiency in English language skills. German language skills will be an advantage
