About the RoleWe are looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Geneva. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for seeking out new opportunities in DC & AC traction power in existing and new customers in the rail business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing existing customer relationships to maintain and grow current business.
- Promotion, Bid Preparation, Tendering and Acquisition actions according to the strategy.
- Initiating and improving relations with key global rolling stock and substations manufacturers.
- Providing technical expertise and driving customer-oriented activities.
Requirements:
- Successful experiences in B2B sales to the railway industry at least 3 years.
- Experience in business development and build-up of new clients.
- Willingness to travel internationally around 20-30%.
- Customer-oriented personality.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering (Degree in Business Administration could be acceptable).
- English at C1 level.
- French as mother language.
- Strong communicative skills.
- Good technical understanding, focus-oriented person.
