Strategic Operations Manager

Huntsman is seeking a skilled Operational Excellence Manager to lead key initiatives at the Monthey site in Switzerland. The successful candidate will establish a site and asset Operational Excellence roadmap, drive performance improvement, and accompany the site in its digitalization journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and Develop Operational Excellence Roadmap: Enhance Operational Excellence culture, set goals, and prioritize initiatives for optimal results.
- Drive Performance Improvement: Develop a High-Performance Organization with embedded Lean processes and tools for People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Change Agent: Manage stakeholders, earn buy-in, and support to improve organizational effectiveness and competitiveness.
- Project Scope and Leadership: Identify, prioritize, and lead projects of strategic and tactical importance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Educate Lean tools to colleagues across all levels, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: University degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Professional experience in managing projects/programs (min. 5 years) in a manufacturing environment, certification is a plus.
- Key Competencies: Flexibility, adaptability, prioritization, team player, forming teams, and building relationships.
- Language: Fluent in English and French, knowledge of German and other languages is a plus.
