Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager / Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement department at Leister Technologies AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the procurement of electronic components and printed circuit boards, as well as the development and implementation of a sustainable product group strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Procure electronic components and printed circuit boards from international suppliers
  • Develop and implement a strategic product group strategy to drive business growth and profitability
  • Conduct supplier benchmarking and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Monitor and analyze international procurement markets to stay ahead of trends and competitor activity
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to negotiate contracts and drive business results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with business operations
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Your Profile

  • Technical, commercial, or business management degree with a focus on procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven track record in international procurement with a strong understanding of global markets and supplier dynamics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
