Associate Director, Patient Engagement and Recruitment

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Patient Engagement and Recruitment team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing disease-specific engagement and recruitment strategies to create a positive site and patient experience in our clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Patient Engagement and Recruitment Leads to develop and execute indication/protocol-specific strategic plans
- Ensure timely and high-quality tactical delivery against an engagement and recruitment strategy for all BMS clinical trials
- Oversee a team and process to ensure ongoing commitments are met across all BMS clinical trials, engaging in continuous process improvement to accelerate trial launch and delivery
- Lead BMS's Patient Engagement and Recruitment function to embed industry-leading processes and principles that define how BMS interacts with and manages its Patient Engagement and Recruitment strategies across all BMS Clinical Trials
- Collaborate within BMS's matrix structure to establish efficient and effective patient engagement and enrollment to ensure all critical clinical trial recruitment milestones are met
- Minimum of a BA or BS Degree in a clinical or scientific discipline (advanced degree a plus)
- Clinical development experience of 5-7 years of relevant industry experience (pharma, biotech, CRO) required
- Significant expertise with patient engagement and recruitment strategies and approach, knowledge of ICH / GCP and regulatory guidelines/directives, understanding of drug development process and Pharma
- Strong organizational, time-management, analytical and decision-making skills in order to efficiently evaluate, plan and accomplish work goals
- Proven experience in managing key internal and external stakeholders (including senior leaders) effectively by frequently soliciting input and gathering and incorporating feedback into processes and driving change as appropriate
