Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-end Engineer to lead and support our growing community. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing user-facing applications, creating prototype applications, and collaborating with designers to develop scalable design systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of user-facing applications, such as control panels for network governance or status dashboards.
  • Create prototype applications that showcase the unique concepts and capabilities of the Internet Computer.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop scalable design systems and pattern libraries that support a consistent user experience.
  • Ensure security, performance, and accessibility are built into the core of everything you develop.
  • Guide the team on browser support, integration testing, and performance optimization.
Requirements
  • Deep expertise with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
  • A strong track record of collaborating with designers to build sophisticated design systems.
  • A proactive approach to considering security, accessibility, and performance from the start of each project.
  • Proven experience developing responsive, high-performance apps for mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.
  • The ability to mentor and elevate the team through honest feedback, best practices, and workflow improvements.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams in different locations and time zones.
  • 5+ years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a history of shipping high-quality products.
  • Expert knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
